How to prepare your floors for a professional clean.

Vacuum your traffic areas before we arrive, if possible.
Remove as many small pieces of furniture as possible, such as dining chairs, ottomans, and small tables from the areas you plan to have us clean. Your technician will be glad to help move light furniture at no extra charge, such as dining room chairs.
We also would appreciate the floors to be free of personal items, toys, books, etc.
Please let your family pets know that our technicians will not bite! We would appreciate mutual consideration! Pets need to be secured or gated away from the area to be serviced. We accept no responsibility for pets getting loose, as your door will be open (to allow for hoses) during your cleaning. We will not enter your home if no one is present and dogs are loose. Please make arrangements for your pets prior to our arrival.
You can be home and stay the whole time we are cleaning, meet us to let us in and then leave, or leave a key out in a pre-designated place. We will call you at your workplace to let you know we are at the job and/or go over the various costs to get your approval. When finished we can leave the door open or lock up.
Do I need to vacuum before my carpets are cleaned?
Yes please! While we do not require that you vacuum first, it is a good idea to remove the top layer of dirt and hair before our deep cleaning.
Do I need to move my furniture for carpet cleaning?
Our technicians will gladly help you move LIGHT furniture prior to carpet cleaning. (dining chairs, end tables, etc.) There is a small fee for moving HEAVY furniture. (couches, armoirs, etc.)
Can you walk on carpet after cleaning?
You can walk on your carpet immediately after a cleaning, but exercise caution because it may still be a little damp. It is best to wait at least 30 minutes to 1 hour if possible. Most customers tell us their carpet is completely dried in 1 to 3 hours. Occasionally it takes 3 to 6 hours. We do everything we can to get it as dry as possible before we leave to shorten the overall drying time.

We know your floors are important to you and we will treat them with care as though they were our own. All work at Blue Bird Carpet carefully performed by responsible, professionally trained technicians. There are some potential risks in cleaning floors and we want you to be aware of them ahead of time.
1. Some conditions cannot be corrected with cleaning. Our results may be limited by the conditions and nature of an item being cleaned. We cannot be held responsible for pre-existing conditions, manufacturer/use related problems or limitations caused by unusual conditions. Preexisting conditions are noted upon initial inspection but some conditions may not be noticed until during/after cleaning or upon closer examination.
2. Urine Stains / Odor: There is no guarantee on odor removal. However, we will do our utmost to remove as much as possible.
3. Specialty Spotting: We cannot guarantee 100% removal of all spots/stains. This especially applies to natural fibers because of their absorbency and sensitivity. Previous use of store bought spot cleaners with high alkalinity can damage the fiber or discolor/bleach the color. Aggressive products required to remove some difficult stains have the possibility of removing color.
