WELCOME TO
BOISE RIVER FLOATERS
Welcome Boise River Floaters, Float The Boise River.
ABOUT US
It’s What We Do
Hello my name is Jesse Snow, president of Boise River Floaters Inc. We are a nonprofit organization focused on the preservation and recreation of the Boise River. We have many goals including keeping the river clean and educating people on how to care for it. We also encourage the recreational use of the river by showing people how to access it. Our future goals include adding a better infrastructure to help people float the river without hurting the wildlife. Boise Idaho is growing too fast. More and more people use this river each year. The need for education and preservation grows everyday.
I have been doing Boise River Floaters for almost four years. I am handicapped due to a TBI and PTSD. Over the years I have sacrificed a lot to be able to produce what I have so far. Since January I have been approved for my 501c3. Since then I have been studying as much as I can while trying to grow my community and produce good content. It’s a lot for one person to take on.
THIS YEARS OFFICIAL FLOAT SEASON
HAS ENDED.
See you next year!
Make sure to check your gear & drink plenty of water.
There’s a few different ways to approach the river for floating. You can either park at Ann Morrison or Barber Park. At Barber Park, you have the option of using your own or renting gear from Boise River Raft and Tube. Who will also collect any rented gear in Ann Morrison after the float. That is where you will have the option to get back in your car and go or take the shuttle to Barber Park to pick up your car.
If you plan on going during the weekend plan on waiting in line for gear rentals & shuttle services.
With opening day upon us it’s important to remember safety first. It is going to be very hot out, but the water is still very cold, so it is easy to get exhausted. Make sure everyone eats a good meal for the day & has plenty of water.
And watch my videos on YouTube for updates on river conditions and how to navigate safely.

Boise River Floaters Inc. is a nonprofit organization focused on the preservation and recreation of the Boise River.
We hope to host community service events that remove trash, pull evasive weeds and plant native trees.
We are also working to improve the infrastructure on the river for recreational use. By installing signs to help direct Floaters, launch ramps for access along with air pumps and facilities.
Preparing the City for Future Growth.
HERE ARE SOME OF OUR GOALS
CONSERVATION
Protect The Banks
Making sure people know how and where to properly access the river is vital to keeping the river banks healthy. We hope to provide information and keep the river properly marked for use. Showing anyone where to get on or off of the river.
The Rivers Bed
Keeping the river safe for aquatic wild life is vital to the entire ecosystem. While birds and other animals hunt and fish on the river, so de we.
RECREATION
Our mission is to promote the Boise River, to encourage people of all walks of life, from all over the world, to come and enjoy this beautiful resource. We hope to encourage conservation and safety while getting the most fun out of it. From tips on where to fish and swim, to how to get down the rapids safely. This is for everyone. I want everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy it. Even if it is just watching on YouTube.
