WELCOME TO
MAPLE GROVE HOT SPRINGS
Blurring The Line Between Human & Nature
ABOUT US
We’re a small group of conservationists, healers, explorers, artists, and builders dedicated to honoring this pristine landscape. We believe personal wellness requires community support, that wild land teaches powerful lessons, and that human growth is rooted in new experiences.
A natural basecamp for personal, family, and organizational growth anchored in hot spring healing and riverfront exploration.
A unique hospitality experience offering furnished yurts, canvas glamping, a wood cabin, and mountainside tent camping.
A boutique event and retreat center hosting workshops, weddings, reunions, group stays and experiences.
A social impact business developing wellness grants, educational programming with an off-grid, net zero footprint.
NATURAL
Mother Nature knows what she’s doing, and she does it exceptionally well. Our goal is to let the nature of existence flood into as much of your experience as possible. Through organic food, protected ecosystems, natural materials, seasonal traditions and more, our hope is to blur the line between human and nature.
JOYFUL
We take our stewardship of the land seriously. We take your experience upon it seriously. Ourselves? Not so much. For us, life is richer with laughter, dialogue, music, dance, new adventures, and the deep feeling of joy that comes with self discovery and human connection. Our programming and events are aimed to balance personal growth and collective joy.
SUSTAINABLE
Simply put, we must ensure that our enjoyment of this land, our efforts through business, and our experiences as customers are designed to last. As a fully off-grid community, we aim to reduce our impact through solar power, composting toilets, farm to table learning and more. Preservation is at the heart of everything we do.
PRESENT
For most of us, slowing down and paying attention to the stillness isn’t easy. Our phones, social media, work, and busy schedules only make it harder. Our hope is to help you unplug, disconnect, and tune in to the daily rituals that the Bear River valley offers. Hiking trails, slow canoe journeys, bird watching, and more, help focus your experience on the present moment.
BE WELL,
WITHIN THE BODIES WE INHABIT,
WITHIN THE COMMUNITIES WE GATHER,
& WITHIN THE WILDERNESS WE STEWARD.
BE WELL.

We are open to the public daily between the hours of 10 am – 9 pm for both day soaks and nightly stays. We are closed every Wednesday for pool cleaning. Occasionally, we are closed for private events and scheduled maintenance and encourage all guests to review our online calendar for special dates.
MINERAL HOT SPRINGS
For thousands of years, the geothermal activity along the Bear River Valley has warmed, healed, and inspired humans. From native Shoshone tribes, to rural farming communities, these waters offer connection amidst sacred land serving distinct cultures.
THE SOURCE
Natural lithium mineral hot springs boil up through two main sources, an upper and lower pond. The upper source leaves earth at 180+ degrees F. The lower pond captures multiple veins and stores water at 160+ degrees F. From these beautiful yet dangerous ponds, a network of open rivers, waterfalls, and streams feed both the Bear River and the bathing pools. Guests are welcome to observe the source but swimming is strictly prohibited.
THE POOLS
Our 45 acres includes 4 soaking pools for guests. 3 circular stone pools offer temperatures between 100-107 degrees F. These pools are located on the riverfront and offer an up close glimpse into the busy wildlife of the Bear River and Oneida Narrows Reservoir. Swan, geese, deer, turkey and more are common visitors during the pool experience. A larger recreational pool offers cooler temperatures between 95-100 degrees F.
