Pomerelle Mountain Resort is an alpine ski area in the western United States, in south central Idaho. It is located below Mount Harrison in the Albion Mountains in the Minidoka Ranger District of the Sawtooth National Forest, and south of Albion in Cassia County, 30 miles (50 km) northeast of the Utah-Nevada border with Idaho.
Pomerelle’s summit elevation is 8,762 feet (2,671 m) above sea level with a vertical drop of 1,002 feet (305 m). There are two chairlifts (1 triple, 1 double) and a magic carpet for the beginners’ area. The area’s average annual snowfall is 500 inches (1,270 cm).
One of the oldest ski areas in the western U.S., Pomerelle began its operations in 1940. During the ski season the area operates daily and five nights per week (Tuesday through Saturday).
Pomerelle features a spacious lodge at the bottom of the mountain offering foods and beverages. There is also a grill outside the lodge on the deck that offers hamburgers, hot dogs, and cold drinks and beer. In the basement of the lodge there is a rental shop.

Ladies Day Program is designed for Tuesday skiers and riders of all ages and abilities. This a monthly program offered in January, February & March will give you a new outlook on getting in shape, learning or improving your skiing or boarding skills and meeting new friends. Schedule yourself some time away from the humdrum of the daily routine either at home or your job. You deserve to escape the winter blahs.

Burley, 28 miles from Pomerelle, is located off I-84 exit #208. (population of slightly less than 10,000)
The small town of Albion (population 300 plus or minus) is located 25 miles off I-84 via SH Idaho 77 Declo/Albion exit #216. The resort is just a 12 mile drive from Albion up Howell Canyon road.
Twin Falls, 75 miles from Pomerelle, the largest city in south-central Idaho. (population of approx. 42,000)
Pomerelle Opens to the Public for Special Events this Summer
Pomerelle presents our summer guests unique offerings. The snow-covered runs are replaced with an abundance of flora and fauna. Wild flowers mimic every color of the rainbow. Deer, elk, and moose enjoy summertime on the mountain.
The triple chairlift operates for scenic chairlift rides to the top of the mountain for a 50-mile panoramic view of the Magic Valley and beyond. Enjoy hiking, nature walks and mountain biking. Pomerelle is equipped to accommodate mountain bikes on the chairlift for your biking adventure. Our outdoor grill will tempt you with “Mountain Man” hamburgers, polish sausages, hotdogs and ice-cold refreshments. Volleyball and horseshoe pits are also available.
