REDFISH LAKE LODGE
A Tradition of Rustic Idaho Adventure Hospitality
About Us
Built in 1929…
Since its construction, in 1929 by Idaho hero Robert Limbert the Redfish Lake Lodge has become a place of warmth, energy, Idaho adventure and authenticity for generations of families and treasured guests. Other than a couple of thoughtful renovations, the Lodge remains much the same as it was back in 1929. The resort sits on 16 acres of U.S. Forest Land. In the main Lodge, you will find the front desk, our amazing restaurant Limbert’s, and the rustic lounge. The second level has 8 motel rooms for guests. Out on the property, there are 21 historic and modern cabins and 11 motel/suite style units. The charming General Store is next to the lodge and offers souvenirs, gifts and basic grocery and camping and fishing supplies. The Redfish Marina sits directly in front of the Lodge provides boat rentals and a hiking shuttle into the beautiful Sawtooth Wilderness Area.
“When there is something in your nature that makes you sit and dream, of the wind and the pine trees and the murmuring of the stream; When that something keeps a’ calling till you feel you want to go, Start your journey, travel westward, to the land called “Idaho”
-Robert Limbert

All of our units are within a short walking distance to the lake and lodge. We do not have TV or phones in our rooms. We do provide reliable wireless internet at the lodge, but internet is not available in all cabins. We hope that you will be able to “turn your back on the grind of the civilized world” while you are here with us. Limbert’s Restaurant
On the first floor of the main lodge, you will find Limbert’s, a staple for guests and visitors to the area. Named to honor Robert Limbert, who built the lodge in 1929, we aim to keep his authentic, rustic vision alive. We start with as much local Idaho grown ingredients as we can, then add our own blend of flavors from the Northwest’s wild resources. We specialize in salmon, trout, wild game, and other regional favorites. Our Stanley, Idaho restaurant also carries wines from acclaimed local, domestic, and international producers. The lake views and rustic lodge atmosphere will make this a memorable and ‘crave-able’ experience for small and large parties alike.
Marina
Take our hiker boat shuttle across the lake, enjoy a scenic guided tour, rent a pontoon boat, outboard motor boat, kayak, canoe, SUP or paddle boat. Or just simply enjoy sitting on Idaho’s best mountain beach.
Weddings
Redfish Lake Lodge provides a unique and memorable setting for your special event. We specialize in Idaho weddings and have everything you need to enjoy this day with family and friends.
