ABOUT US
Creators of Treefort Music Fest
Duck Club was founded as a partnership between Lori Shandro and Eric Gilbert, with help from Drew Lorona, as a means to help inject some fresh energy into the Boise music scene. Their initial collaboration was creating Treefort Music Fest in the Spring of 2012. Through that process, Megan Stoll joined the team as a partner. Since the launch of Treefort Music Fest, the vision has broadened into a permanent engine of live music curation, general promotion of the Boise music scene and a multi-faceted production company offering various means of support to emerging artists. Rachel Mason came aboard in the Fall of 2019 as a Marketing Manager and Allie Morgan joined the club as a Project Manager.
As we entered 2020, the pandemic allowed us some time to look at our business structure and decided to grow our company, bringing on Keven Mazarelli as Production Manager, Marissa Lovell in Publicity, Conner Schumacher as Photographer and McKenna Esteb as Social Media Coordinator.
Duck Club Presents hosts shows and parties in various venues around Boise and builds the annual Treefort Music Fest — a 5-day multi-venue celebration of emerging artists (national/regional/international/local) in Downtown Boise every March.
Duck Club Touring is another wing of The Duck Club which represents emerging touring bands around the country.
Since its inception, Nathan Walker joined forces as Senior Duck Club Touring booking agent.

DUCK CLUB PRESENTS THE FLIPSIDE FEST
A Neighborhood Music + Mural Festival
Friday, Sept. 22 – Sunday, Sept. 24, 2023
After having Treefort in September of 2021, we heard your cries for a fall festival. And while Treefort Music Fest in September was one of the best, it was a one-off experience. This September, instead of coming together in downtown Boise, we’ll catch you on the Flipside.
Flipside Fest is a three-day music and mural festival in Garden City, Idaho. The fest is an all-ages, outdoor, multi-venue festival featuring 50ish local and touring bands, live murals by local artists, and immersive on-foot exploration of the Surel Mitchell Live-Work-Create District in Garden City.
Headliners for the second ever Flipside Fest in Garden City include THE WALKMEN, fronted by Hamilton Leithauser — the band finally reunited earlier this year and we couldn’t be more stoked for them to perform at the second year of the festival (fun fact they also played ten years ago at Treefort’s second festival year)! Joining them on the lineup are the illustrious L.A.-based rockers THE REGRETTES, who performed on Good Morning America, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and Conan, plus electronic artist-producer and Vaporwave legend GEORGE CLANTON, and Australian psych-surf-farm rockers BABE RAINBOW from all the way down under (Byron Bay, Australia). Plus, Japanese indie quartet CHAI and dance pop siblings FROST CHILDREN (NY) are popping in with their infectiously high-energy beats! New additions to the lineup include the immortal electronic trio MAGIC SWORD (Seas of Oblivion), and badass psych rock rager outfit SPOON BENDERS (Portland, OR) along with the dreamy, sway worthy, and Boise faves THE SHIVAS (Portland, OR).
Late Night Afterparties (21+) will take place after the outdoor shows end on Friday & Saturday nights and include a dance parties at The VAC with DE LUX (DJ Set), warehousey dance vibes with OROGRAPHIC and NANCYBOY, and fresh sounds from CDIGI & FRIENDS. PLUS! Check out the all ages, 100% Electronica Afterparty Friday night at Realms Arcade, featuring DJ SETS from ESPRIT, FROST CHILDREN, DEATHS DYNAMIC SHROUD, and more! Tickets can be purchased here. PLUS PLUS!! Drag Performances over at Somewhere Bar by COCO FREEO, ERYKA KNOWLES, CYRAPHINA, FRANK SIRACHA and many more!
Venues this year include Main Stage (in VAC parking lot), The VAC, Barbarian Brewing, Somewhere Bar, Coiled Wines, Roots Zero Waste Market & Vervain Collective, Spaceport, Wepa Cafe, The Drop, Push & Pour, Surel’s Place, and Sandbar.
