Welcome to Idaho’s ultimate zip line tour company…
Zip Idaho is Idaho’s ultimate Zip Line adventure! Located just a half hour north of Boise in beautiful Horseshoe Bend.
Happy 2021! Good News, we are now open!
Due to the Pandemic, and for the safety of our guests and employees, Zip Idaho will be making some changes for the season.
First, we will not be using the canopy tour section in order to avoid crowding-mixed groups in the small tree stands.
So, for the Summer Special price of $39.99, there will be a three Zip line tour of over 4500 feet. You will jump onto the Turkey 2000; no messing around this year! After the Turkey 2000, it’s right onto Hangem High, our 1000-foot-long tandem Zip line that will have you hanging 120 feet above the valley floor. Then, the race is on as you hook onto Double Barrel, a 1500-foot-long tandem line that will definitely get your blood pumping.
Another significant change is that guests will drive themselves to the course. Go to Google Maps and type: Jerusalem Landing Camping and Events Venue (link). If you do not have Verizon or T-Mobile cell phone service, MAKE SURE you program Google Maps before you leave your service area. Google Maps navigation will work offline through GPS as long as you search Jerusalem Landing Camping and Events Venue before leaving your service area. It will take you right there. Also, be aware that the last couple of miles of the drive is a bit steep, bumpy, narrow, and muddy when wet. I drive it in a front-wheel-drive Prius 90% of the time, and it does great.
A great advantage in having guests drive themselves to the property is being able to hang out as long as you like. You may bring a picnic; go for a hike; enjoy the wildflowers and the magnificent views.
Did I mention that the property was recently granted a Conditional Use Permit for a Camping and Events Venue? Weddings, Reunions, Music Festivals, or a Small Music Venue, a perfect place where social distancing comes easy! You name it; we will try to make it happen.
Zip Idaho will take sanitation and social distancing very seriously. We will disinfect equipment between tours. Participants are encouraged to wear gloves (gardening or work gloves are great). Masks are also suggested for the short on-site van ride.
Due to the shorter length of the tour, if you have a gift certificate, we will either honor one certificate for two people, or you can wait until next year when we will likely have the canopy tour open again.
Closed toe shoes required. Participants must weigh between 70-250 pounds. We are mostly going cash free this year, but if you want to bring some cash to buy drinks or tip your guide that would be great! We are now using an online reservation system, click the Book Now button below to see a calendar of available dates and purchase.
Zip Idaho – The Full Experience
After the drive, your guides will give you a thorough safety briefing and help you put on your gear. Then it’s time to zip!
Zip Lines start from ground platforms and land on the ground and are much longer higher and faster. First up is the “Turkey 2000!” This is a 2030 foot long screamer that will leave your eyes watering and your adrenaline pumping. You’ll reach speeds of around 50 mph! Eyewear recommended. (I’m not kidding) Then it’s on to “Hang ‘em High” This zip is a side by side zip line that is a little over 1000 feet long. It will have you and a friend hanging out about 120 feet above the ground. Then it’s on to “Double Barrel” This is another side by side zip line about 1500 feet long. Double Barrel is cocked, locked, and loaded and will have you and a friend racing high above the valley below! There is very little walking on the tour.
This is truly a world class zip line tour and we are sure it will be the adventure of a lifetime for you and your friends and family. Thanks for zipping with us!
