ValPons Advertising Guidelines
1. General Information
ValPons allows subscribers to contribute various kinds of content to our website through the use of ads and coupons that include images, videos and messages pertaining to the subscriber’s products and services. We want subscribers to improve their profitability and on-line presence while remaining in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and content limitations as set forth in these Guidelines. Subscribers must be honest about the products or services their ads or coupons promote; they must avoid content that misleads or offends; and they must never compromise our users’ privacy. These Advertising Guidelines apply to all content contained on the ValPons website.
Subscribers must comply with ValPons’ Terms and Conditions of Service and all other Valpons’ policies governing the use of our Services. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to reject, remove or ban content that violates these Guidelines. We may update our terms, policies, and guidelines from time to time, and your continued use of our Services is your acceptance and agreement to be bound by any updated terms, policies and guidelines.
Subscribers must also comply with the Advertising Guidelines specified by our third-party website hosting service.
2. Prohibited Content
The following types of advertisements or coupons are prohibited:
- Ads or coupons targeted to countries subject to U.S. trade sanctions and other U.S. export control laws.
- Ads or coupons that encourage illegal activity, or any illegal conduct, product, or enterprise.
- Ads or coupons that solicit the user’s participation in lawsuits or ads that ask users to report on their medical history for purposes of potential compensation.
- Ads or coupons that depict drug use or excessive drinking.
- Ads or coupons promoting “get rich quick” schemes.
- Ads or coupons that involve contests or sweepstakes.
- Ads or coupons that contain adult content including nudity, sexual terms, escort services, adult dating sites or other suggestive content.
- Ads or coupons that encourage violence or depict hyper-realistic violence.
- Ads or coupons that encourage dangerous behaviors.
- Ads or coupons that suggest violating laws or regulations.
- Ads or coupons that direct users to phishing links, malware, or similarly harmful codes or sites.
- Ads or coupons intended to shock the user.
- Ads or coupons that encourage dishonest behavior.
- Ads or coupons for products or services principally used to infringe the intellectual property rights of others, such as those designed to bypass copyright protection.
- Ads or coupons for products or services principally dedicated to selling counterfeit products, such as imitations of designer or officially-licensed products.
- Ads or coupons that are deceptive, false, or misleading, including deceptive claims, offers, or business practices.
- Ads or coupons that deceive users into providing personal information without their knowledge, under false pretenses, or that otherwise misuse personal information.
- Bait-and-switch techniques or other deceiving calls to action.
- Ads or coupons that demean, degrade, discriminate, or show hate toward a particular race, ethnicity, culture, country, belief, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression, disability, condition, or toward any member of a protected class.
- Ads or coupons that promote harassment or bullying.
- Ads or coupons that depict nudity or sexual content.
- Ads or coupons that may be considered culturally inappropriate in the selected location.
- Profanity or obscene gestures (with the exception of censored profanity).
- Get-rich-quick or pyramid schemes or other deceptive or too-good-to-be true financial offers.
- Ads that promote particular securities or that provide or allege to provide insider tips.
- Payday loans or predatory lending.
- Any other Financial Products and Services of questionable legality or other sensitivities, at our sole discretion.
