How Hank got his Hillbilly nickname
QB Hank Bachmeier finally left the city limits of Boise to explore Idaho when Tyler Eiguren invited him to Fruitland in June. Hank left with a cowboys hat, boots & a new nickname. He’s also the proud owner of jeans now!

When you earn the starting quarterback role as a true freshman, you likely need all the help you can get. That’s the case for star sophomore quarterback Hank Bachmeier. Last season, Bachmeier started the season and went 7-1 before injuries sidelined him. Now, with a year under his belt and the help of his girlfriend, the young quarterback now has a better. “She’s super into ball,” Bachmeier said.
