MISSION
The mission of the Boise Art Museum is to create visual arts experiences that engage people and inspire learning through exceptional exhibitions, collections, and educational opportunities.
VISION
To be a vital partner in the educational, creative, and cultural life of our communities as an innovative leader in local, regional, and national visual arts.
WE BELIEVE:
• in the value of the visual arts as integral to a holistic education;

Purchase/Reserve Your Admission Tickets Online
If you would like to schedule your visit in advance and expedite the admissions process, we recommend pre-purchasing your tickets online (including members and individuals who receive FREE admission). We request that you schedule your visit in one-hour blocks, at least 2 hours in advance of your visit. If scheduling for a group, please limit to 10 visitors or fewer in the Museum at a time.
Tickets are only valid for the “Date of Visit” you select below. No refunds are issued for admissions purchases.
CLASSES & WORKSHOPS
Art + Healing:
Mindfulness Moments at the Museum
Ages: all ages
FREE with price of admission | BAM members are FREE
Seniors (62+) are FREE on the 3rd Wednesday of each month

Instructor: Jenelle Carberry
Come practice mindfulness at BAM inspired by the current installation of Felix Gonzalez-Torres: “Untitled” (L.A.). Chair yoga is for everyone! We will use gentle movement to help release tension from the body, along with breathing and mindfulness practices to calm the mind.
CLASSES + WORKSHOPS for ADULTS
BAM’s studio art program encourages the creative abilities of all participants by offering experiences in a variety of art media which provide opportunities for making connections with BAM’s exhibitions. Through reputable artists and educators, we provide quality instruction for all ages in a small-class, non-competitive and enjoyable atmosphere. Class size is limited to optimize learning. Participants must pre-register to reserve a space as class size is limited. Please dress for mess!

ART CAMPS for CHILDREN
BAM’s studio art programs encourage the creative abilities of all participants by offering experiences in a variety of art media. Campers will spend time with original artwork and make their own projects in the studios every day. All activities are inspired by BAM’s current exhibitions and instructed by professional Art Educators and Artists. Group sizes are small for individualized attention and safety. Pre-registration required.
Please bring campers dressed for messy and outdoor activities. Bring a packed lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, and hat. A Medical Information Card for each student will be mailed when the registration form is received. The student may attend only after the form has been completed, signed and returned to BAM. Children are required to be checked in and out of classes and camps at BAM by a parent or guardian each day.

ART IN THE PARK 2023

Boise Art Museum’s Art in the Park is widely recognized as one of the premiere cultural events in the Northwest. This open-air festival, held on the weekend following Labor Day each September, provides visitors of all ages and interests with the opportunity to meet more than 200 artists and purchase their works. During the three-day event, Boise Art Museum presents a variety of contemporary arts and crafts along with wonderful food and hands-on activities for children.
