Also, our LED light helps speed up the process of the active ingredient in our organic whitening gel. Our gel does not change or damage the structure of the teeth, and it can also help kill bacteria.

Brett Olson is the Founder, Owner, and Operator of Idahome Smiles.
Brett was born and raised here in Boise, Idaho, and he’s passionate about keeping business local. Brett has changed the idea of teeth whitening by offering the best teeth whitening process and experience to Idaho. He has created our Smile Spa’s, complete with essential oils, massage chairs, and a relaxing environment for people to destress from their busy day.
Brett enjoys being outdoors and exploring all the beauty Idaho has to offer. If he’s not in the office, he’s probably on a snowboard up at Bogus Basin, or on a hike out in the Idaho wilderness. Being from Idaho, he knows the importance of supporting local businesses and our local economy.

How to prepare for your teeth whitening treatment.
Stay hydrated.
Drinking water massively reduces sensitivity. Dehydrated nerves cause sensitivity, so drink before and after your teeth whitening appointment.
Don’t brush or floss.
Don’t brush or floss your teeth at least 6 hours prior to your appointment. This reduces sensitivity too. Brushing/flossing opens up your gum line and you’re more susceptible to experiencing sensitivity after your teeth whitening treatment.
Eat before your appointment.
You won’t be able to eat or drink anything other than water for 2 hours after your treatment. We also have our clients stick to a white diet for 24 hours after their teeth whitening treatment.
After Whitening Care
Teeth Whitening & Oral Health Tips
Coconut Oil Pulling
This improves oral hygiene and removes toxins from the body. The practice involves swishing oil around in your mouth to remove bacteria, which can turn into plaque and can cause your teeth to look yellow.
Brush with Baking Soda
It has natural whitening properties, which is why it’s a popular ingredient in commercial toothpaste. It’s a mild abrasive that can help scrub away surface stains on teeth. Apply once a week.
Hydrogen Peroxide
Hydrogen peroxide is a natural bleaching agent that also kills bacteria in your mouth. Apply once a week.
Rinse With Apple Cider
Acetic acid, which is the main active ingredient in apple cider vinegar, effectively kills bacteria. The antibacterial property of vinegar is what makes it beneficial for oral health and whitening your teeth. Apply once a week.
