Legacy Pavement Services is a premier, local asphalt contractor (also known as blacktop) and maintenance company in the state of Idaho. We service much of the Boise metropolitan area but also have completed larger projects outside of the Treasure Valley. Legacy Pavement Services specializes in asphalt patching, saw cutting, resurfacing sports courts, hot tar crack filling, parking lot striping (line striping), and seal coating. We only work with Sealmaster’s line of materials which have a proven track record of quality and consistency, ensuring proper procedures and applications for our climate.

ASPHALT SEALCOATING
What is Sealcoating?
Sealcoating is the process of applying a protective coating to asphalt surfaces. This coating protects from potential damage caused by water, sun, oil, other harmful elements, and chemicals. Sealcoating is a great way to maintain excellent curb appeal for your asphalt driveway or commercial parking lot. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing but it protects and preserves your investment for years to come. A few steps need to be completed before applying a sealcoat that should be noted. First, we clean and remove all debris from the asphalt surface, then seal all cracks with our traffic-ready crack sealant. All edge and trim work are completed by hand to ensure neat and clean edges. Next we apply a prime coat over the surface using a spray application and allow it to dry. Finally, we finish the surface with a heavy coat of asphalt sealer. ASPHALT CRACK SEALING
Understanding Asphalt Crack Sealing:
Hot crack repair or crack sealing is the process of applying rubberized sealant to cracks in asphalt surfaces. This protects the asphalt from possible moisture damage. First, we ensure the surrounding surface and cracks are clean and free from debris. Next, we expertly seal the cracks using a traffic-ready, hot rubberized crack sealant.
